Hello September

I'm a summer birthday girl which I adore (especially as it means a convenient six months between presents) and generally the weather is pretty perfect for lounging around in parks, outside restaurants, the beach etc. But I think I've said it before that I find autumn my favourite season for dressing: the crisp mornings turning into warmish days, the perfect excuse to wear the biggest boots and the merge towards a darker lip.

So it comes as no surprise that the latest addition to my monochrome wardrobe is this black wool roll neck jumper dress that's perfect with some simple jewellery (the trusty Tiffany that never comes off), crocodile skin clutch, something lacy and the boots that never leave my feet.

With my hair silver these days, I keep make up straightforward with smokey eyes and Mac's Velvet Teddy for that 60s look. Or big lashes and Mac's Studded Kiss for when I'm feeling plum.
