This weekend was gloriously unproductive. It began with a work lunch in the sun on Friday, where we wandered up to NoHo and sat outside in the sun at Sergio's. We shared melon and prosciutto, and calamari as starters then each had pizza, pasta or seabass (me) whilst soaking up the sun. After work, I couldn't resist a few glasses of Pimm's - it's finally summer after all - and switched between the classic Pimm's No.1 and the new Blackberry & Elderflower recipe, jam-packed with fruit.
Saturday and Sunday was spent in a generous layer of sun lotion, minimal clothing, and with two books by my side, dreaming of holiday in less than a month! I've got a few busy weekends ahead of me (my cousin's wedding next weekend, and a long tradition of polo in my hometown the weekend after that) so lazing around in the garden, planning the summer soundtrack to Ibiza was ideal. The fact that I managed to kickstart a tan on my porcelain pale skin's an additional bonus.
